ATLANTA—Harlow Cregar tallied two goals and two assists to lead the Oglethorpe women's soccer team to a dominating 4-1 win over Agnes Scott Sunday evening in the Stormy Petrels' 2025 season opener.
Oglethorpe dominated the possession from start to finish, and that domination paid off in the 28th minute when Delaney Hanks delivered on a header inside the box after a great crossing pass from Cregar. The Petrels would continue to dominate the possession but headed into the halftime break ahead only 1-0.
In the second half, it was Cregar who found the back of the net first, making it 2-0, when she took a pass from Evan Thomas along the right side, made a cutting move inside to beat an Agnes Scott defender, then slotted her first goal of the season home inside the side netting of the far post.
After Agnes Scott got some life back with a goal eight minutes later in the 80th minute, the Petrels put the game away with two goals in the final 10. Freshman Izzy Aurelia had the first of the two off an assist by Cregar when she headed in one from inside the penalty area on a play similar to Hanks' goal in the opening half. Cregar's great crossing pass set up Aurelia for her first collegiate goal which she guided to the left side past a diving Olivia Rosario.
Cregar rounded out the scoring in the 90th minute off an Emma Perkins would-be goal. Perkins nearly had the goal herself but the shot went high off the crossbar. The awaiting Cregar was there for the rebound and buried her second goal of the day with her left foot again to the left side.
