MEMPHIS - The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels split a weekend of road games this weekend after falling 3-0 to the Rhodes Lynx Sunday afternoon. Katherine Crim made one save and Delaney Hanks took one shot on goal in the loss.
Rhodes scored its first goal early on, and the Lynx took control of the field. Ten minutes later Rhodes scored again, but Oglethorpe was able to take a few shots of its own. Time ran out for the Petrels to make a move in the first period, and before long Rhodes scored again.
Besides the Lynx goal, the second period was a lot of back-and-forth as Oglethorpe struggled to find a scoring opportunity. Once again, time ran out before the Petrels could make a major play, resulting in the 3-0 loss.
