ATLANTA - The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels celebrated their four seniors Friday night but were beaten 77-54 by the Trinity Tigers.
Jackson Kemp led with 13 points and rebounds. Carter Watkins followed with 10 points, then Andrew LaVigne and Kam Stone with nine each. Mason Kemp made three steals, LaVigne had four assists, and Malachi Dooley made seven rebounds.
LaVigne was the first to score, but the Tigers were not far behind. Trinity quickly moved into the lead, reaching 41-29 by halftime. Watkins made the first basket of the second period, but the Tigers held their ground. Oglethorpe was unable to find any runs in the second half and fell 77-54.
Game Notes
- Before the game, four graduating seniors were celebrated: Dooley, J. Kemp, M. Kemp and Brevin Klym.
- Halftime featured a performance from the cheer team and Khayos.
- Dooley made five assists.
- The Kemp twins both recorded a block.

The final home game of the season will be Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. against Southwestern. The Stormy Petrels will go on the road at No. 25 Rhodes and Millsaps next weekend to close out the regular season.
