Dunn joins Hiller on NCAA PING all-America team

ATLANTA- Oglethorpe junior golfer Ryan Dunn has been selected to the NCAA Division III PING All-America team, announced the GCAA. Dunn, an honorable mention, joins fellow junior Jackson Hiller on the list. Hiller previously earned first-team status during the first wave of honorees announced during the NCAA Championships.

Dunn dominated across the first two days of the NCAA Championships at Mission Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. He shot 2 under par on the first day and fired an impressive 4 under par 68 on day two which propelled him into the No. 1 spot through the first 36 holes. Dunn's performance led the Petrels to make the cut and continue in the championship.

Dunn finished with a score of 71 on the final day of the championship and secured him the No. 7 spot overall. He and the Petrels marked their sixth consecutive top-16 national finish. Dunn posted 16 birdies and recorded the team's only eagle of the week.

Dunn previously this season was named to the Southern Athletic Association All-Conference first team. He was also named an SAA athlete of the week after shooting 4 under par with four birdies across five holes to lead the Petrels to finish as the runner-up in the Savannah Invitational.

Dunn became the 39th all-American in the history of the men's golf program. This marked his first time on the list. Hiller, the program's 38th all-American, has been named to the all-America list twice.
