Xavier “Xay” Duax joined Oglethorpe’s athletics staff as assistant men’s lacrosse coach in 2025 following an outstanding career as a Stormy Petrel. Duax serves the men’s lacrosse team as goalie coach, overseeing the development of the team’s goalkeepers throughout the year.

Duax graduated from Oglethorpe in 2025 following a playing career that saw him rank No. 2 all-time in both saves and save percentage. He also was a member of the Southern Athletic Association academic all-conference team and ranks all-time at Oglethorpe in several ground ball categories.
