He made the 2010 ABCA All-South Region third team, and was a SCAC player of the week his senior year.

Cornwell currently serves as senior corporate counsel for the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and is a licensed attorney in the state of Florida.

Katrina Heath

Heath graduated in 1993 with a mathematics degree and was influential on Oglethorpe's track & field team. During her time as a Petrel, Heath claimed a SCAC individual title in shotput, javelin and discuss, was a two-time All-SCAC honoree, and took several runner-up spots in other SCAC championships. She was also a member of Oglethorpe's women's basketball team.

Heath earned her master's degree in education from Georgia State in 1996 and is currently a math teacher at Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia.

Mark Lavery

Lavery graduated in 2012 with a degree in history and has always been dedicated to soccer. He was the 2010 season leader in points and assists, the 2011 SCAC defensive player of the year and an NSCAA All-America first team honoree. He also received a SCAC player of the week nod.

After graduating, Lavery spent two years competing with professional teams in Iceland and Costa Rica. He is currently the academy director for the North Atlanta Soccer Association.

Eric Quinn

Quinn graduated in 2013 with a degree in economics, and was always heavily involved with Oglethorpe golf. Quinn was a key member of the 2012 NCAA Division III National Championship-winning team, and he took the SCAC individual title and player of the year honor that same year. He also set the SCAC championship record for best first-round score of 67 in 2012.

Quinn was also a member of the 2009, 2011 and 2012 SCAC Championship teams. Quinn was named a 2013 All-American and was a four-time all-conference selection. He was named the SCAC player of the week four times in his career and was a team captain his junior and senior seasons. Quinn currently ranks fifth all-time in Oglethorpe history with four major tournament wins in his career.

Quinn returned to Oglethorpe as an assistant coach in 2015, where he helped lead the program to many accomplishments. He was a beloved coach and member of the Petrel community who passed away at age 32 in November 2023.

Aaron Walker

Walker graduated in 2012 with a degree in business administration and made a big impact on the soccer field. He was the 2011 season leader in assists and was named to that year's All-SCAC first team.

Walker has been a professional athlete since graduation, and currently competes for Greenville Triumph SC.

Jon Akin

Akin first joined Oglethorpe as men's soccer head coach in 2003, and has been smashing records and program highlights ever since.

Coach Akin has secured four conference titles, eight conference coach of the year nods, three NCAA appearances, and has coached numerous SAA players of the year, NSCAA, and All-American award winners. He brought the men's soccer program their first conference title, their first NCAA appearance, and their first NCAA tournament win.

Akin became the program's winningest coach in 2009, then secured his 200th win as the Petrels advanced in this year's SAA tournament.

Under Akin, the program has developed a unique and admirable style of play for Oglethorpe, with plenty of success to show for it.
