Box Score ATLANTA—Drew Jabaley had two hits on an otherwise quiet day for the offense, and Oglethorpe's baseball team fell to Emory 5-3 to close the regular season Tuesday. The Stormy Petrels trailed early but took the lead in the fourth only to see the Eagles outscore them 4-1 over the last four innings.
Jabaley went 2-for-3 with a walk and was all over the bases, scoring the go-ahead run in the fourth inning. It followed an RBI from Cooper Wilson moments earlier, and Wilson added another RBI on a sacrifice fly in the sixth.
Emory scored the tying run in the fourth then added two runs in the fifth to take the lead for good.
The Petrels and Eagles split the season series after Oglethorpe topped Emory 10-9 in the only other meeting of the season. That meeting was Oglethorpe's season opener in February.
