ATLANTA – The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels are geared up for the new season under the leadership of interim head coach Francis Ali.

On the Roster

• Oglethorpe has welcomed two freshmen: Abigail Hudson and Anabell Larsen.
• Mia Geveke, Karina Lopez and Gabbi Phillips have also joined the team.
• Returning players: Taylor Glover and Maddie Nolen.
• The Petrels will graduate one senior: Phillips.

On the Schedule

• First match: Saturday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. at Covenant.
• First home match: Saturday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m. against Huntingdon.  
• Annual spring break tournament: March 9-12.
• Senior Day: Wednesday, March 26, at 4 p.m. against Piedmont.
• First conference match: Friday, March 28, at 4 p.m. at Berry.
• SAA tournament: April 25-27.

Additional Notes

• Five Petrels were named to the Southern Athletic Association academic honor roll last season.
• Ali is currently serving as interim head coach with assistance from Brianna Ali '24.
• Oglethorpe will face Swarthmore, University of Minnesota Duluth and University of Northwestern for the first time in program history.
