ATLANTA – The annual Bushnell/Golfweek Preseason Coaches Poll has put Oglethorpe at No. 6 in NCAA Division III.

Oglethorpe received 325 points in the preseason poll, right behind No. 5 Sewanee. Other Southern Athletic Association members include Trinity at No. 11, Southwestern at No. 18, and Berry at No. 23. Rhodes also received a few points but did not breach the top 25.

The Stormy Petrels will begin their fall season at the Southern Athletic Association Preview on Sunday, Sept. 7, and also host the NCAA Division III preview in mid-September. Oglethorpe has three other fall matches lined up as well.

The NCAA Division III Preview will be September 21-23 in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, at Mission Inn Resort and Club's El Campeon and Las Colinas courses. Oglethorpe will also host this year's national championships at the same site in the spring.
