ATLANTA - Oglethorpe senior Jackson Hiller has been named Southern Athletic Association men's golf athlete of the week after a blazing No. 2 finish at the Golfweek October Classic in Sandestin, Florida, earlier this week. This is his fourth honor in his career.

Hiller fired 69-74-67 and his final round boosted him seven spots to No. 2. The finish helped lead the No. 10 Stormy Petrels to land third overall against some of the highest competition in the nation. Hiller led the field in birdies tallying 14 and finished third overall in par 5 scoring.

The Petrels compete in the last tournament of the fall season October 26-27 at the Chick-fil-A Invitational hosted by Berry College in Rome, Georgia.
