ATLANTA- Oglethorpe head coach Kellen Greer returns at the helm for his sixth season leading the Stormy Petrel baseball team.

On the Schedule

• First game: Friday, Feb. 20, at 4 p.m. at home at Hermance Stadium.
• First Southern Athletic Association game: Friday, March 20, at 6 p.m. versus Southwestern in Georgetown, Texas.
• First home SAA game: Friday, March 27, at 6 p.m. versus Trinity.
• SAA Tournament: May 7-10. The top six teams qualify.

On the Roster

• Oglethorpe welcomed nine freshmen: Will Weaver, Ben Chatham, Casey Turner, Logan Mortimer, Josh Stewart, Hunter Lovett, Micah Knox, Ross Rea and Will Pittman.
• Four transfers have joined the squad: Nick Morgan, Evan Smallwood, Kaden Stephenson and CJ Brennan.
• The Petrels returned: Cade Eidam, Jack Perno, JB Sain, Hayden Partain, Ryan Causey, Konner Burrell, Will Lumpkin, Trey Kinnan, Jace Armstrong, Nathan Murray, Paul Gaeta, Jayson Barber, Alex Steckler, Maddox Husband, Rhett Wells, Alex Kerr, Tyler Hower, Tate Henderson, Carter Drake, Brick Conway, Drew Jabaley, Aiden Hosford, Dylan Quintilio, Ethan Snipes, Will Phillips and Parker Spring.
• The team will graduate 14: Steckler, Husband, Wells, Kerr, Hower, Henderson, Drake, Conway, Jabaley, Hosford, Quintilio, Snipes, Phillips and Spring.

Last Season

• Kinnan was named All–SAA second team and ranked second in the SAA for stolen bases and fifth for hits.
• Henderson was named All–SAA honorable mention.
• Sain received one nod of SAA athlete of the week.
• 31 were named to the SAA academic honor roll.
• The team recorded 30 home runs.
• Causey recorded four home runs and 28 RBIs.
• Quintilio struck out 36 batters.
• Conway stole nine bases and scored 21 runs.
• Henderson struck out 26 batters.
