ATLANTA- Oglethorpe juniors Diego Passos and Ryan Dunn have been named Southern Athletic Association co-athletes of the week after they pushed the No. 10 Oglethorpe men's golf team to a runner-up finish at the Savannah Invitational this weekend.

After starting the spring season ranked No. 10, the pair was in the top 10 finishers in the tournament and were the top finishers in the SAA.

Passos began the tournament strong with a 5 under par 67 where he finished four of his last eight holes with birdies. Dunn took control over the last round shooting 4 under par with four birdies across five holes.

The two combined to help reduce a 15-stroke deficit in the final round of the tournament, propelling them to secure the second-place spot.

Passos and Dunn along with the rest of the Stormy Petrels will travel to Pinehurst, North Carolina, to compete in the Tiger Invitational March 9-10.
