Hiller named to NCAA PING all-America first team

ATLANTA—Oglethorpe junior Jackson Hiller added another major award to his 2025-26 collection Friday when he was named to the NCAA Division III PING all-America first team. The NCAA announced the award winners Friday afternoon during the NCAA Championships post-tournament awards ceremony.

Hiller became the 38th all-American in program history and the 13th named to the first team. This follows him winning third team honors last year following his sophomore campaign.

Hiller has accumulated several other prominent recognitions this season, including Southern Athletic Association athlete of the year honors after medaling at the SAA Championships. He was an all-SAA first team selection, three-time SAA athlete of the week, ranks No. 3 in NCAA Division III and has posted three wins, four top-threes and eight top-15 finishes in 10 starts. Hiller most recently posted a T33 finish at the NCAA Championships.

Among Hiller's other wins this season was the NCAA Division III Fall Preview in September which he won by five strokes. He set the program's 54-hole scoring record with a 13 under 202 (66-68-68) at that event.

Hiller also recently was named a finalist for the 2026 NCAA Division III Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award presented by Workday, which recognizes the top golfer for the 2025-26 season. The winner for this award will be announced by Nicklaus on Sunday, June 7, during his annual the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday press conference.
