NCAA Men’s Golf Championships Preview

ATLANTA—Three All-Southern Athletic Association first team members headline the No. 12 Oglethorpe men's golf team, which was selected as an at-large to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships, set for May 12-15 in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. The NCAA made the announcement on Monday.

The Stormy Petrels have now qualified as a team or individual(s) for the national championships for 27 consecutive years.

Oglethorpe and Greater Orlando Sports Commission will serve as host, marking the 14th time Oglethorpe has served as host of the men's or women's championships since 2005, all at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

Championship Information

  • Tuesday-Friday, May 12-15, at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
  • Hosted by Oglethorpe University and Greater Orlando Sports Commission.
  • Forty-three teams and 10 individuals not on one of those teams have been selected to participate in the championships
  • Thirty-four conferences were awarded automatic qualification for the championships. The final nine berths were at-large selections. Oglethorpe earned one of those nine berths.
  • The team and individual champions will be determined after 72 holes of play or the conclusion of the last fully completed round.
