The Oglethorpe University men's soccer team lost to Centre College in their SCAC opener on Salamone Field on Friday afternoon, 3-1. The Petrels tied the game at one apiece just before the halftime buzzer on a loose ball goal by Bryan Burnick but the Colonels got the game's final two scores for the 3-1 win.

The men are now 2-3-1 on the season and will be looking for their first conference win on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. when they face-off with the DePauw University Tigers on Salamone Field.
