The men's soccer team narrowly lost to Trinity in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday, 1-0. The Tigers got the game-winner in the 84th minute to deny the Petrels a chance to upset the 16-2 Trinity squad.

The Tigers improved to 9-0 in conference play but only after Oglethorpe gave them their tougherst battle of the season. The Petrels were outshot by Trinity 19-8 and conceded 15 Tiger corner kicks while earning only one but still had the game level heading into the dying stages of the game.

With the result Oglethorpe is now 6-9-1 on the season. The Petrels face Birmingham-Southern this Friday in Alabama.
