The men's tennis team put the finishing touches on the regular season this past Saturday with a 6-3 victory over Millsaps College in Birmingham on Saturday evening.

The Oglethorpe men swept the doubles competition and then won the first three singles matches to clinch the victory rather quickly.

The duo of Rajiv Dinakaran and Ethan Motz survived a scare at No. 1 doubles but prevailed 9-8 (4). Benjamin Hirsch and Kirk Zhao won 8-6 at No. 2 while Craig Borne and Andre Cedric teamed up to win 8-4 at No. 3.

The Petrels got straight set wins from Motz, Zhao and Andre in the singles matches to sew up their 8th win of the season.

The men, seeded No. 7 overall, will now turn their attentions to the SCAC Championships this weekend in Little Rock, Ark. First up will be a match against No. 10 seed Hendrix College at 11 a.m. on Friday.
