The Oglethorpe women's lacrosse team ended its first-ever regular season with a victory over Dallas Saturday in Jackson, Miss., defeating the Lady Crusaders, 13-7.

Oglethorpe led 6-3 at the half, then outscored Dallas 7-4 in the second half. The Lady Petrels outshot Dallas 35-20 over the course of the game, and scooped 30 ground balls to their opponents' 24.

Oglethorpe got five goals from freshman Michelle Vasques, three goals from senior Katie Weeks, and two each from junior Carissa Thomas and freshman Sydney Sparks.

The win improves the team to 3-10 on the season, and they now prepare to head back to Jackson next weekend to take on Millsaps in the first round of the SAA Tournament.
