Box Score

The Oglethorpe men's soccer team extended their unbeaten streak to four games Tuesday night, defeating Piedmont in Demorest, Ga., 3-1, with an outstanding second half.

The Petrels were just getting started, however. They would take the lead an incredible nine seconds later, as junior midfielder Carlos Gaston took the ball off the restart, drove down the field and scored his third goal of the season.

With the 2-1 lead, the Petrels gave themselves some insurance in the 52nd minute. Williamson ended the huge five-minute Petrel run with his second goal (fourth of the season) off an assist from junior midfielder Aleks Tanjga.
