The Oglethorpe women's tennis team fell 9-0 to Berry Saturday morning on the Howell Courts. The defeat dropped the Stormy Petrels to 3-5 on the season overall and 1-3 in SAA play.

The Petrels proved competitive in one of the three doubles matches, as senior Lisette Phillips and sophomore Sydney Dattilo fell 8-4 in the No. 2 match. Berry wound up sweeping the doubles competition, though, and they took all six singles matches, as well. Phillips lost 6-0, 6-3 in a competitive second set on the top line.

Oglethorpe will be back in action next weekend as they head to Alabama to take on Birmingham-Southern in matches on Friday and Saturday.
