ATLANTA – Oglethorpe's men's and women's soccer teams have wrapped up their regular seasons and are now headed into the Southern Athletic Association tournament.
Men's Soccer Postseason Outlook
- Oglethorpe earned the No. 2 seed and will host No. 7 seed Millsaps Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m.
- The winner advances to the final site, set for Memphis, Tennessee, as Rhodes will host the semifinals and final.
- If the Petrels beat Millsaps this weekend, they will face the winner of the No. 3 Sewanee/No. 6 Hendrix match.
- Oglethorpe defeated Millsaps 3-0 in the regular season, with Aaron Ibe's eventual winner coming in the 26th minute. That was the final road match of the season for the Stormy Petrels.
Men's Soccer Season Review
- The Petrels stand at a 6-2-6 (3-1-2 SAA) record this season.
- The Petrels earned SAA athlete of the week nods four times this year: Ben Alram, Daniel Amah (2x), and Adrian Levy.

- The Petrels were a win away from securing a host of their opening game, but Berry defeated Oglethorpe 4-0 in the regular-season finale last weekend to claim the spot.
- The winner of the quarterfinal matchup will travel to Sewanee, Tennessee, as Sewanee will host the semifinals and final.
- Oglethorpe, with a win over Berry, would face the winner of the Rhodes/Hendrix matchup.
Women's Soccer Season Review
- The Petrels hold a 5-8-2 record this season.
- This season, the Petrels recorded their first win against Piedmont in over 10 years, part of their seven points in the first three matches. Oglethorpe fought for a 0-0 draw with No. 5 Hendrix, and defeated Millsaps 4-0 two weeks ago.
