Clark added to women’s lacrosse staff

ATLANTA—Dia Clark has been hired as assistant coach for Oglethorpe's women's lacrosse team, announced head coach Rebecca Hart. A long-time veteran of lacrosse, Clark joins the Stormy Petrel staff after spending the last 10 years at Park School of Baltimore where he served as director of athletics, varsity lacrosse coach and PE teacher.

"I am extremely excited to welcome Dia Clark to the Oglethorpe women's lacrosse family," said Hart. "His experience in lacrosse and within athletics coupled with his excitement about coaching is going to help guide our program to new heights. I can't wait to see all Coach Clark does to positively impact our program."

With Park School of Baltimore, Clark led a comprehensive athletics program at the prestigious independent school, serving over 150 student-athletes across several competitive sport seasons. As director of athletics, he managed several operational components of the department, including the recruitment and hiring of new coaches, building community partnerships to strengthen departmental outreach, planning the budget for the school's long-term strategic growth, and serving as primary liaison with independent school leagues.

As a varsity lacrosse coach, Clark led the lacrosse program across grades 4-12, emphasizing fundamentals and player IQ. The team posted 78 wins alongside only 24 losses during Clark's 10 years leading the program as coach and athletic director.

Clark initially joined Park School of Baltimore in 2013 as assistant director of athletics and varsity lacrosse coach before being promoted in 2015 to director of athletics and varsity lacrosse coach.

Prior to Park School of Baltimore, Clark served as athletic communications and promotions intern at LaSalle University in 2010 and public relations intern with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2009.

Clark earned his bachelor's degree in sport management from Temple University in 2011 before earning his master's in athletic administration from Northeastern in 2021. He currently resides in Smyrna.
