Women's lacrosse 2025 season recap

ATLANTA - Head Coach Taylor Martin's third season was another successful one for Oglethorpe as several Stormy Petrels set new records.

Oglethorpe opened with a 12-9 home win against Methodist. Their first road game was also a win, dominating 19-0 at Huntingdon. Conference play proved tough this season, especially with the addition of Southwestern. The Petrels fell to Sewanee in late March, then nearly pulled off a win at Berry but fell 11-10 in overtime. Oglethorpe ended the regular season on a high note with a 21-2 win at Hendrix, giving the team a burst of energy for the Southern Athletic Association tournament.

Oglethorpe posted a 20-9 revenge win against Centre to advance to the semifinals for the first time 2023. However, top-seeded Sewanee still packed the same power from earlier in the season and ended the Petrels season with a 16-12 loss in the semifinals.
