ATLANTA— The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels continued their outdoor season Friday at the Emory Spring Break Classic as the team builds momentum, posting strong finishes, multiple personal bests and new school records against a competitive field.

Men's Highlights

• The men's 4x200-meter relay team of Anthony Bonds, Jordan McQueen, Brandon Large and Philmon Laudat led the Petrels with a sixth-place finish while shattering the previous school record with a time of 1:29.48.
• The men's 4x100-meter relay team consisting of Mason O'Shields, Laudat, Bonds and McQueen recorded a top-10 finish with a time of 43.92.
• Zeno Goss posted a personal record in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:06.53, while Noah Harmon followed with a PR of 4:16.46 in the same event.
• Laudat added another personal best, clocking a 22.53 in the 200-meter dash.

Women's Highlights

• The women's 4x800-meter relay team of Kirsten Rose, Allyssa Hearn, Mari-Rosa Colon and Hannah Rhodes delivered a standout performance with a top-three finish and a new school record time of 9:57.43.
• Hailey Wright earned a fourth-place finish in the long jump, setting both a personal record and a new school record with a mark of 5.51 meters.
• Amirah Ali placed sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 11.16 meters.
• Evan Thomas recorded a personal best in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.76.
