The women's soccer team lost to Emory University in Decatur on Tuesday night, 4-1.

After only trailing 1-0 at the half Oglethorpe was blitzed by three second half Emory goals to break the game open. Freshman Clara St. Urbain scored her 8th goal of the season in the 82nd minute to put the Petrels in the score sheet. Senior Mary Beth Horton played a perfect ball into the box and St. Urbain, with her trademark speed, ran in a found the back of the net.

Oglethorpe is now 7-5-1 on the season and will have some time off before facing hosting Hendrix on October 22.
