The Stormy Petrels fell behind, 1-0, in the sixth minute of the game and spent the rest of it looking to tie the score. They never could. They fired 16 shots at the Agnes Scott goal, putting 10 of them on target, but were unable to get it past the Agnes Scott goalkeeper.
The Petrels got a great performance from junior goalkeeper Bailey Evans, who stopped eight of the nine shots on goal she faced. Junior midfielder Claire Stauber fired five shots, putting three on goal.
The Stormy Petrels were outshot by the Scotties overall, 18-16. The Petrels put 10 shots on goal to Agnes Scott's nine. The game featured just one corner kick, which was taken by Agnes Scott.
