MEMPHIS, Tenn.—The Oglethorpe women's soccer team was on the road again on Sunday afternoon to face Rhodes College. The Stormy Petrels were defeated 3-1.

Julia Snyder scored the first goal of the game 14 minutes into the first half, but Rhodes answered back with a goal three minutes later, the first of three they would score over the next 18 minutes.

The Petrels held strong and did not allow any goals in the second half of the game and had some good defensive saves. Goalkeepers Alexis Hutson-Hamric and Haley Lowell combined for 11 saves.

The Stormy Petrels will return home on Friday night to face Millsaps College. This will also be senior night for Oglethorpe. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. after the men's game.
