Box Score MEMPHIS - The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels faced another difficult Southern Athletic Association battle, falling 22-7 at the hands of the Rhodes Lynx.
Seven Stormy Petrels recorded Oglethorpe's goals, while Jazz Washington made three assists and Israel Pendleton-Moore made two. Goalkeeper Xay Duax made 18 saves. Â
Washington scored the first goal of the game, but Rhodes quickly moved into the lead. Quade Bedgood also scored later in the period. The Lynx prevented Oglethorpe from scoring in the second quarter, and the Petrels headed into halftime down 12-2.Â
Max Brand, Hinton Chandler and Robbie Coull all scored in the third quarter, but Rhodes continued with their crusade. Noah Stroud and Carter Daniels scored late in the fourth quarter, but Oglethorpe ultimately fell 22-7.Â
