ATLANTA – The Oglethorpe men's and women's tennis teams wrapped the 2025 season with several highlights.

The men's team began with a loss at Emory but bounced back with a 5-2 win over Huntingdon then a 7-0 win against LaGrange. The Petrels went on multiple winning streaks throughout the season, the longest being five matches which included three Southern Athletic Association wins.

The men picked up wins against Berry, Hendrix, Millsaps and Centre. Their regular season ended with a 7-0 loss to No. 10 Sewanee, but Oglethorpe crushed Hendrix and Rhodes to advance to the SAA finals, where they dropped another match to Sewanee to end the season.

Like the men, the women's team began the season with a loss to Huntingdon but bounced back with a 7-0 win against LaGrange. This, however, would prove to be the only victory for the Petrels this season.

• Kellen Simmons: All-SAA second team, Petey Award for Breakthrough Stormy Petrel, SAA All-Sportsmanship.
• Men's team: Petey Award for Scholarly Team.
• Maddie Nolan: SAA All-Sportsmanship.

Team Notes

• Five freshmen made their debut: Abigail Hudson, Apsana Rai, Nicolas Ntayagabiri, Kellen Simmons and Nicolas Zapata.
• The program graduated two Petrels: Neal Nankani and Tony Molinet.
• Two players made their Oglethorpe debut: Grace Elsevier and Callum Searle.

Individual leaders 

• Bailey Raymond posted a 13-3 singles record.
• Noah George had a 9-5 singles record.
• Jefferson Page and Sam Wasko combined for a 9-5 doubles record.
• Figge Pernfors and Kellen Simmons combined for a 12-2 doubles record.
