Box Score ATLANTA - Several players recorded career milestones as the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels snatched a 10-9 win from the DePauw Tigers Thursday night despite a nail-biter of a fourth quarter.
Adesewa Atiba led with three goals and three caused turnovers. Freshman Madelyn Gardner made 12 saves to reach over 100 career saves, while senior Savannah Freeman notched her 100th career ground ball.
Anna Ramsden had two goals, three assists and three ground balls. Ellis Mitchum also had two goals and three ground balls.
Anna Conza scored the first goal of the game, and DePauw quickly followed. Ramsden got Oglethorpe's next goal, once again mirrored by the Tigers. Ellis Mitchum ended the period with a last-second goal. The score tied multiple times in the second period, then Atiba and Mitchum, both assisted by Ramsden, got Oglethorpe to a 6-4 lead.
The Petrels maintained their two-point lead throughout the third quarter, moving to 8-6. DePauw fought hard in the final quarter, scoring the first and the last goal. The Tigers made one more shot, but it was saved by Gardner. The Petrels outlasted the Tigers for a 10-9 win on their home turf.

- Oglethorpe and DePauw were both previously members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, until the Tigers departed in 2011 then the Petrels in 2012.
- This was the first ever game between the Tigers and the Petrels as both programs began in 2012.
