ATLANTA- The Oglethorpe University men's soccer team has been named to the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 season, announced United Soccer Coaches on Friday. The list honors soccer teams at the national level for demonstrating excellence in the classroom across the academic year.

Oglethorpe's 3.17 grade-point average earned them a spot among 326 other men's soccer programs nationally that achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher. Fifteen Stormy Petrels in particular contributed to this high academic achievement after earning a spot on the Southern Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll, announced following the fall season.
