ATLANTA – Oglethorpe Head Coach Rob King completed his third season with the Stormy Petrels after making continuous improvements. 

The season opened with a resounding 11-0 win at Wesleyan, a 1-1 tie against Roanoke, then wins against Piedmont and Agnes Scott. Covenant ended this positive streak, but the Petrels were able to nab a 2-1 win at LaGrange.

Southern Athletic Association proved much more challenging, but Oglethorpe managed a win and a draw. The win, a 4-0 victory at Millsaps, pushed Oglethorpe into the conference tournament as the No. 5 seed. Oglethorpe managed a goal against Berry in the quarterfinals, but ultimately fell to the Vikings to end the season.

• Jade Anderson: SAA All-Sportsmanship team

Individual Leaders

• Jones was the team's leading goal scorer, recording six this season after 15 shots on goal. She also made one assist.
• Grace Elsevier made the highest number of saves in a single game for any SAA member, totaling 19 against No. 20 Emory. This tied the program record. For the season, she totaled 79 saves to rank fifth in the conference. She faced 166 shots.
• Caylen Loftin scored four goals, and Evan Thomas made three.
• Harlow Cregar made three assists. Lauryn Oliver and Valentina Hurtado each made two.
• Lily Burford, Anderson, and Ella Price all scored two goals.
• Katherine Crim made 29 saves.

Season Notes

• Record: 5-9-2 (1-4-1 SAA) 
• The team graduated six seniors; Mackenzie Jones, Safiya Said, Jade Anderson, Maddie Ennis, Caitlyn Caputo, Kirsten Wrona and graduate student Lauryn Oliver.
• Seven Petrels made their collegiate debuts: Rowan Gross, Hurtado, Loftin, Ruba Saleh, Brooke Brantley, Molly McKenna, and Abigail Zerm.
• Byers, Elsevier, Oliver, and Alyssa Hearn made their debuts as Stormy Petrels.
• Oglethorpe played Georgia Gwinnet College for the first time.
