Women's basketball 2024-25 season recap

ATLANTA – Head Coach Jasen Jonus' first season with the Stormy Petrels has concluded after an eventful year for Oglethorpe.

Oglethorpe's season started with wins against Huntingdon and Piedmont, but Oberlin prevented a true streak from coming true. The Petrels consistently picked up pairs of wins, including a 102-66 victory against Warren Wilson.

Southern Athletic Association play opened with a loss to Centre but then a win against Sewanee. Oglethorpe also picked up wins against Hendrix and Rhodes. The regular season ended with losses to Berry and Millsaps, but the Petrels turned things around with a 79-69 win against Rhodes in the SAA quarterfinals.

The Petrels' season ended in the semifinals at the hands of top-seeded Millsaps.
