Men's lacrosse 2025 season recap

ATLANTA – The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels wrapped up another season of progress under first-year head coach Christian Hall.

The season began with a 13-2 win at Shorter, but then a bitter 9-7 loss against Point during Oglethorpe's home opener. The Petrels picked up wins against Randolph and Warren Wilson as well, but many regular season games ended with close losses. Southern Athletic Association play proved tough as well, with the addition of Southwestern to increase the competition.

This season, Oglethorpe supported the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and their VS Cancer program. The effort was captained by freshman Matthew Cobley, and the team's campaign raised nearly $1,000.
