"We were happy to celebrate the careers of all of our seniors today," said Head Coach Alan Woods. "We didn't get the result we wanted on the field, but Centre is a very good team and is very difficult to beat. We'll look to bounce back on Monday before heading into the conference tournament."
The Petrels have one game left in their regular season, as they'll welcome Talladega to Salamone Field Monday at 4 p.m. in what will serve as the team's final home game of the year, as well. They'll serve as the No. 8 seed in the SAA Tournament and will travel to Tennessee to take on top-seeded Sewanee next Saturday in the quarterfinal round.
