ATLANTA – Oglethorpe Head Coach Rob King is heading into his fifth season with the Stormy Petrels, leading a well-rounded team into a competitive schedule.

On the Schedule

• First game: Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Agnes Scott at 7 p.m.
• Home opener: Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. against Brevard.
• Southern Athletic Association opener: Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Berry, with kickoff at 5:30 p.m.
• SAA Tournament: November 5-8 hosted by Berry.
• The Petrels will face Maryville for the first time since 2014, now that the Scots are SAA members once again.

On the Roster

• The team welcomes four freshmen: Masha Renggli, Emma Leonard and Marlie Sikora. Ella Nuzum also joins the Petrel squad. 
• Returning sophomores and juniors: Myleigh Oglesby, Izzy Aurelia, Mikayla Stuart, Rowan Gross, Ruba Saleh and Abigail Zerm.
• The Petrels will graduate nine seniors: Lily Burford, Ella Price, Emma Perkins, Lauren Byers, Jasmine Cardenas, Gabi Plaia, Delaney Hanks, Evan Thomas and Ana Williams.
• Katherine Crim and Kate Parker return as graduate students.
• Assistant coach Frank Pitt also returns for his fifth season, joined by new top assistant coach Edin Orman.

Last season

• Record: 9-5-1
• Hanks and Williams were named to the All-SAA first team, with Crim and Oglesby nabbing honorable mentions.
• Hanks scored 10 goals, ranking third in the SAA. Three of those were game-winners. Her goals per game average of .667 was the highest in the conference.
• Crim made 59 saves for a 0.80 save percentage. She ranked fourth in the SAA for total saves and third for saves average (3.93).
