Anthony Stephen Zelencik held many positions in his time at Oglethorpe adn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education. 

He was the Editor-in-Chief for the school's Yamacraw yearbook, a member of Le Conte Club, student council, and Blue Key Honor Society, Pledge President of Alpha Lambda Tau fraternity, a member of the Ugly Club and the "O" Club. He also played intramural sports, setting the school discus record.

Zelencik worked for Standard Oil Company for 30 years. His older brother Frank has also been inducted to the Oglethorpe Hall of Fame.

Zelencik was born October 5th, 1919 in Indiana. He attended East Roosevelt High School and was the 1934-35 runner-up for the Indiana HIgh School Athletic Association Boy's Wrestling Championship. His team was also runner-up. Zelencik and his wife Mary had four children. He passed away on November 9th, 1996.
