Oglethorpe University

Darrell Whitford has been the owner and president of Intermedics Associates Inc. in Akron, Ohio for the last thirty years.

At Oglethorpe, Whitford was named a Junior College All-American. In 1964 and 1965 he played for the Goodyear Wingfoots, a team in Ohio sponsored by the local Goodyear plant.

Whitford was born in August of 1938 in Kentucky. He also holds an associates degree from Brewton-Parker.
