  • Maccaglia has become one of the most decorated men's golfers in Oglethorpe history, and continues to advance his professional career. His achievements are as follows:
  • 2011-12 NCAA National Champion (Arnold Palmer Award).
  • 2011-12 Phil Mickelson National Freshman of the Year.
  • 2014-15 Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year.
  • Four-time NCAA All-America first team member (2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14, 2014-15).
  • Four-time PING All-Region team member (2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14, 2014-15).
  • Four-time All-Conference first team member (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015).
  • Two-time SAA Most Outstanding Player (2013-14, 2014-15).
  • SCAC Newcomer of the Year (2012).
  • 15x conference player of the week.
  • SCAC All-Sportsmanship team (2011-12).
  • Two-time Academic All-America Selection (2014-15: first team, 2013-14: second team).
  • Two-time All-America Scholar (2013-14, 2014-15).
  • Three-time Academic All-Conference.
  • Holds the Oglethorpe record for career tournament wins with 12.
  • Holds the Oglethorpe record for single-season tournament wins with 5 (2012-13).
  • Finished in the top 15 three times at the NCAA Championships.
  • Maccaglia held the Oglethorpe record for 72-hole scoring until last May when it was broken by national champion Michael O'Sullivan ('24). Maccaglia most recently qualified for his first PGA Event, becoming the second golfer in Oglethorpe history to do so. He is coming off the GPRO Golf Tour.
