Oglethorpe University

Jay Vanderhorst was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the “O” Club in his time at Oglethorpe.

The 1983-84 men's basketball team posted a 17-8 record, including a win against Georgia State. Vanderhorst scored 234 points his senior season and was noted as the key player in the 1984 homecoming win against Maryville. Vanderhorst was named to the Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.
 
He has worked as a Manufacturer’s Rep since 1984.
