Harry J. "Jim" Robertson was one of the most successful football coaches in program history.

Robertson led Oglethorpe in back-to-back Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SIAA) championship titles in 1924 and 1925. The latter season saw an impressive 8-3 record. Robertson coached multiple fellow Hall-of-Famers and national award winners. Overall, he served the Stormy Petrels from 1924 to 1933. His overall head coaching record was 39-49-5, and he was succeeded by the iconic Coach John Patrick.

Robertson came to Oglethorpe from Syracuse, where he served as line coach for two years. He studied at and played for Dartmouth, and also played in a single NFL game serving as a tight end for the Rochester Jeffersons. Robertson inherited the coaching position from his brother Jim, who he had played against during college. Harry was captain of the Syracuse team while Jim led Dartmouth.

Robertson was born March 4th, 1896 in Chambly, Quebec, Canada. He served in the Army during World War One. He passed away on January 7th, 1962.
