Cecil Moon graduated with a Bechelor of Arts in Secretarial Preparation.
Moon was president of the Alpha Lambda Tau Pledge Club and a member of the O Club. He was captain of the basketball team and also played on the baseball, football, and intramural basketball teams.Â
Moon was born in Bowdon, Georgia. He and his wife Jeanette met while they were both attending Oglethorpe, and they had three nieces.Â
