Percy “Lefty” Dixon was highly active in intramural sports and was a member of Alpha Lambda Tau Fraternity. He graduated with a bachelor’s in physical education.

A pitcher and switch-hitter, Dixon spent five years in the minor leagues for several different teams up and down the east coast. He was born in 1912.
