Oglethorpe University

Lefty Willis graduated in the class of 1925 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He played baseball all his four years at Oglethorpe University.
 
Outside his main sport, Willis was a business manager petrel, manager of Frosh football, and band member in 1922; he was a track manager in 1924 and a member of the Sigma Lambda Literary Society. He was also a member of Pi Kappa Phi.

Willis died of a heart attack in May if 1959, just two weeks after attending that year's Homecoming Day.
