Cornell Longino wore #22 and was a leader on the men's basketball team during one of it's most successful eras. He graduated with a bachelors in accounting.
Longino was a member of the famed 1993-94 men's basketball team, which has since been inducted into Oglethorpe's Athletics Hall of Fame and was dubbed the "miracle season". This was the first of Longino's two NCAA tournament appearances.
Longino holds one of the highest career rebound records in program history. He was named Co-MVP his senior year. The 1995 team posted an 18-8 record and made an NCAA tournament berth. Upon his graduation, Longino also held the all-time assist record. That record has since been beaten, but he remains in the top five.
Longino went on to earn his M.B.A. from the Cornell Johnson School of Management and is currently the Consulting Director for Huron. he has remained active in the community, volunteering as the board chair for the International Academy of Smyrna.
