Michelle’s love of soccer began in Littleton, Colorado when she was five. Her prowess was undeniable. After moving to Allentown, Pennsylvania, she played for the State Select team for 3 years in middle and high school. Michelle made the Parkland High School Varsity team as a freshman, contributing to the team's success of a one-loss season and a district championship. Afterward, she moved to Roswell, GA, playing for Roswell Lady Santos and Roswell High Women’s Varsity team for three years. Michelle continued her soccer career at Oglethorpe University as a four-year starter and Team Captain. Even though she made multiple All-Conference teams and still holds many Oglethorpe Women’s Soccer records, Michelle is best known for being a consummate teammate who elevated the play of everyone around her.
While at Oglethorpe she also was a four-year letterman and All-Conference team member in Tennis.

Michelle’s education at Oglethorpe prepared her for a successful career as a Graphic Designer. She designed the graphics for the current MARTA Breeze card, as well as for events for President Bill Clinton and Reverend Jesse Jackson. She has also worked at WebMD as a design contractor. Currently, she is the Art Director for CCRA Travel, based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Michelle’s success is not limited to the soccer pitch nor professional environment. After graduating, she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer. The doctors did not give a good prognosis. Enduring many long radiation and chemo treatments, she beat cancer with the same winning attitude and determination that made her great on the soccer pitch. She has been cancer free for the past 7 years.

Michelle is the daughter of Mike and Debbie Parks, who coached many of Michelle’s soccer teams. Her older brother, James, is an Oglethorpe Alumnus and men’s soccer letterman.  Her husband, Conor, is an Oglethorpe Alumnus and three-sport letterman including men’s soccer. Michelle and Conor have two beautiful girls, Ryleigh (4) and Haleigh (2). They currently reside in Destin, FL.
