Oglethorpe University

Robert Smith graduated from Rockdale County High School in 1977, graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in 1987, and then graduated from Oglethorpe University with a Master’s Degree in 1993.
 
Smith was a teacher in the Hall County School System, where he taught at South Hall Middle School in Gainesville, GA. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi at the University of Georgia and a member of the Christ Place Church in Flowery Branch, GA.
 
Smith died on April 6, 2024, aged 64.
