" In the Fall of 2002, I began my OU career as a freshman. That same Fall I found myself riding in the front row of the golf team’s passenger van headed to Greensboro, NC to play in my first college golf tournament. Our team had a great year from 2002-2003, going on to win the regional title and playing in Ohio at the Division III National Golf Tournament. I was also honored as an All-American and winner of the 2003 Phil Mickelson Award for Division III Freshman Golfer of the Year.

Our team competed at the National level for the next three years, and became a perennial favorite to win the national title. Some of my favorite moments were winning the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate Golf Tournament as both a team and then separately as an individual. As well as winning OU’s host event in Jekyll Island, GA where my family was able to attend and see my last collegiate victory. To this day my coaches and team members are my dearest friends, and no matter how much time passes, we can always re-kindle the unforgettable moments we’ve had as members of the Oglethorpe golf team.

After graduating from Oglethorpe in 2007, I began my career as an accountant at CohnReznick. I am now a senior manager working as a consultant to some of the largest investors in renewable energy sources like Wind and Solar Power producing plants. I do try to keep up with my golf game by playing in amateur tournaments and on weekends with friends; however I now enjoy spending my time with my beautiful wife Stephanie and our daughter Emerson.  We like to vacation at the beach with family, and spend time with Emerson at the parks in Decatur, GA where we now live.
I am so very much honored to be awarded a place in the OU Athletic Hall of Fame. It’s flattering to know that my team and university appreciate my time at Oglethorpe as I do."
