Oglethorpe University

Kerry Evert was a point guard and four-year starter. He was the 12th player to enter the 1,000 point club.

Upon his graduation, Evert held the most career assists in program history (he now sits at No.10). He was named a 1995 Academic All Region honoree and a GTE Academic All-American Team honoree.

Today, Evert holds one of the highest scoring averages in program history, the second highest career free throw percentage, career assists, and field goal percentage. Over his career, he was named MVP in several tournaments. Evert was a Resident Assistant on campus.

Evert currently coaches the JV boys' basketball team at Starr’s Mill Highschool in Fayetteville, GA.
