Asa Wall was a member of the “O” club and the football team.
He was described in the Yamacraw yearbook as “a good keeper of the outer gardens and an excellent pitcher when called upon to do so.”
Wall played two seasons in the minor leagues: 1930 with the Lindale Pepperells (D level) and 1933 with the Atlanta Crackers (A level), only pitching with the former. With Lindale he recorded a 6.84 ERA over 25.0 innings pitched, .946 fielding percentage, 12 assists, 62 hits, and 11 home runs. He only played in 16 games for Atlanta, recording two home runs and a .256 batting average.
